This is an American made handcrafted guitar from the old Gibson plant in Kalamazoo Michigan by former Gibson employees and executives after Gibson decided to move to Nashville. This particular model is the Heritage H-150 that Heritage produced as its version of the Les Paul. The craftsmanship is fantastic and finished in the old Gibson Gold which has a tint of bronze mixed like the old gold tops. The frets are excellent, the guitar plays and sounds excellent, recently setup and intonation set. Nice low action with no dead spots or fret buzzing. This guitar dates to 1994. Binding in good shape. All electronics work as they should. The guitar cosmetically I would rate at VG for its age. There is some fainting of the gold on the Grover keys and normal wear on the gold for the bridge and tail piece gold. On the rear of the body there some worming and wear see pics. The guitar has had a headstock repair see pic but is very solid and only cosmetic. If you want a guitar and your concern is tone, and playability, not cosmetics this is it.The back of the neck has some wear, and the case is original. One of the latches is broke but the others work and is not an issue for supporting or traveling with the guitar. It has Heritage on the outside and tolex has normal wear for an instrument 23 years old. This is a professional guitar and can be purchased for the price of the Epiphone Les Paul Model made in China.
