-I did an eco-overhaul on this horn: took most of dents out (some dents remaining), cleaned valves and valve casing inside, soldered back together, polished up and lacquered with baked on lacquer-This horn is a great choice for a student's first french horn. Key is F. Bore size is .469" Bell throat is Medium. -Valves are clean, nice and tight. No wobbling. No clicking noise.-Playing well. Good valve compression -Slides are working smoothly.
