Features The shape of the body of the '63 ES-335 has the narrower cutaway horns and bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and matched 550K potentiometers. With hot hide glue, the historic body and neck construction and tubeless historic truss rod makes this a must have for any player and lover of the ES-335 guitar. The guitar is loaded with MHS hum bucker pickups, period-correct .100"x.045" fret wire and a VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Description Product Description Although the ES-335 kicked off with the "dot neck" in 1958, many players have always preferred the "block neck" version of the early '60s. The beautifully recreated 1963 ES-335TD includes the correct body shape with narrower horns and rolled fingerboard binding for a soft playing feel.
