Up for sale is a Selmer Paris Reference 54 "Dragonbird" special edition tenor saxophone. This horn is a remake of the Mark VI with some modern technology added in. This horn would be ideal for a professional, college, or top level high school player.In addition to this being a Reference 54, this horn is one of 200 "Dragonbird" edition tenors made to commemorate the legacy of Charlie Parker. This horn is #115 of the series and unique features include the Asian style Dragonbird engraving, honey gold lacquer, black pearl keys and the red "S" on the octave key mechanism. This horn comes in a Selmer Light case that is in very good condition. Also included is a certificate of authenticity from Selmer that is specific to the serial number.This horn is in pretty much brand new condition. It is very versatile, can belt out soulful jazz tones while maintaining the intonation and finesse to play classical music. This is one of the best tenors you can buy, the only reason I am selling it is that I don't play it enough to justify ownership. Insured shipping included for USA.
