1965 Gretsch Country Club Model 6192 in Tobacco Sunburst with Gold hardware. Pictures show dust specks on guitar they are not in finish. This guitar is also on Reverb. If you look on Gbase most Gretsch CC's from the 60's in this condition start at $4K on up. This has most of the appointments as the 58 - 61 Model 6120 and features:2 &3/4" Thick body, two Filtertrons, 3 way tone select switch, 3 way pickup select switch, plus a standby switch next to two individual volume controls and a master volume control. What somewhat rare for this model is it has a factory order gold plated Gretsch Bigsby complete with Bigsby bridge. This guitar sings and is very easy and comfortable to play. Rockabilly heaven at your finger tips or old R&R. These thick body Gretschs are amazing through a marshall or old tube fender amp. Think of that "Stray Cat" sound with a wammy bar, you get the idea. Or, if you like Chet and Lenny Breau this is the way to go.This model was at the top of line for Gretsch just below the White Falcon and were designed with the Jazz guitarist in mind. This offers the "Zero Fret" with Neo Classic thumbnail inlays on a Ebony fretboard. The neck is straight and the frets are excellent and truss rod works as it should. There only a few very minor chips in finish with a scrape about 2" X 1/2" on bottom side. The neck shows some light playing wear on side toward the middle where finish is slightly worn.  No cracks or breaks and the pickguard is stunning. No binding "rot", case shows dust on the outside, this guitar was kept under the bed for over 30 years. The two pieces of paperwork are early reproductions. The case is in excellent condition and is probably from circa 1957 it fits perfectly and all the latches work it sports the "Gretsch" metal plate logo and all the latches function perfectly.  $120.00 flat shipping and insurance for lower 48 states continental USA, elsewhere would be more. Please no Foreign bidders, PO or APO boxes. Don't mind the calculator price below for shipping. I will invoice you for total amount with shipping at end of auction. Thanks
