We have a holy grail booster extremely rare vintage early 1970s S hawk ltd III Bass Range Tonal Expander / Equalizer / Booster / Harmonic Booster / Headphone Amp / Pre-Amp. The Hawk III Bass Tonal Expander is a simple op amp filter circuit that actually uses old fashioned REAL inductors (as opposed to op amp "gyrator" simulated inductors that we all use now). The preamp boost gives +20 dB and the treble boost gives +30 dB! Beautiful condition and original. This is what every booster dreams to be.
The S. Hawk Ltd. Hawk III Tonal Expander made its debut in 1973. It is a 2 point peak and dip equalizer specifically designed and optimized to compliment the electric bass guitar.
