The renowned classical guitar maker, Alhambra, has classical models in many ranges. This is model, 9P, is one of their top of the line models. Serial number is 001087. These are hand-crafted guitars that incorporate traditional Spanish guitar construction features such as the Spanish heel used by Torres in the 19th century whose guitars are still being played after more than 150 years. This has a solid red cedar top and a solid Indian rosewood back and sides as well as an ebony fretboard. It also features gold tuning machines. The tone is rich and warm with great overtones and projection. This is one of the original stock guitars that I got in when I became a dealer. It has been my floor sample for quite some time. This has been one of my favorites. I really like this guitar. The woods are beautiful and the construction is excellent. These handmade beauties are an outstanding value that sound and play as well as guitars costing much more. Many extras were included when I brought this one in. Upgrades like a cutaway body, a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend, and custom fiberglass case that was made in Italy are included. This is an incredible instrument in mint condition. Original MAP on this including the upgrades and case was $2889.
