This auction is for a 2010 Fender Eric Clapton "Blackie" American Stratocaster. It was purchased new from a local music store. The original pick guard was changed to upgrade to a white 3 ply and then it was basically put it away in the music instrument closet (heated and air conditioned room) and have not really played it since. Great feeling soft "V" neck, Active noiseless pickups with mid boost, blocked tremolo, alder body. The G&G case has a superficial scratch in the cloth. Nothing really to speak of, I just want to be upfront with everything. The original pick guard with plastic covering will come with the guitar. The only reason that I'm selling the guitar is because I picked up the Custom Shop version. I have to tell you, I honestly do not really see the difference in the playability or sound between the two. I just fell this one might be easier to sell with the price of how much the Custom Shop version is. This guitar looks brand new. The tremolo sticker is still in place.
