Superb condition, stored at 50% humidity.This is G6120-1959LTV from the Gretsch Professional Collection and is one of the top of the line 6120's currently offered by Gretsch. It recreates the look, sound, and feel of an original '59 but with modern dependability and durability. This is a truly high end arch top that sounds just as it should and plays amazingly well. The voice of the guitar is clear and true with excellent tight bass response and crystal clear treble. The humbucking TV Jones Classic pickups offer very low noise and sound fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well! The guitar is well suited for a multitude of playing styles from jazz to blues and rock. The guitar features trestle bracing, which is essentially 2 upside down “U” shaped wooden supports that run from the neck joint area to the bridge. This bracing adds mass and stability under the bridge and electronics dramatically increasing sustain and rejecting feedback while still retaining the classic Gretsch hollow body vibe. This guitar is pure Gretsch quality with top notch fretwork and neck angle providing the perfect playability that the Gretsch Professional Collection is known for.
