Eternal guitars t type "Rodney" or Carl's guitar as I like to call it. This guitar is made by Dave Walsh, Dave is a long time luthier, one that has actually done an apprenticeship not self taught. He was taught by a well known luthier through the 80s and has been in the music industry for ever... all the info you need about Dave and Eternal guitars is on his website.. Google Eternal guitars and hot rod pickups. This guitar is handmade and hand finished with vintage specs and a lot of skill. These guitars are around 1700 to 2000£ depending on how much work you require. This particular piece has 2 different nitro finish coats so one wares into the other.. The rrp was 1850£ It was made for Carl but I managed to get it from him and it's been sat in its case ever since.. I've played it for no more than 40 minutes maybe twice at home.. I had no intention of selling it, but I have just purchased another Eternal guitars strat, and I feel that this tele won't get the use it should need.. The guitar: Hand joined and shaped ash body 3 tone sunburst finish with a Olympic white over spray. Made to original specs. 4 way toggle Hound wound humbucker neck with split coils to the hand wound tele pickup in the bridge. These pickups are up there with the best and I really tell no lie. Hand made maple neck hand shaped and vintage truss rod installed. Rosewood slab board with med jumbo fret wire.(the only non original Spec) Clay dot markers with correct position marker on the side of the neck. Tele shaped headstock with Eternal guitars water slide decor. Hand aged hardware which will be gotoh or kluson, proper electrics no cheap crap. The waiting time to have one made is around 3 months ... So here is your chance to own one now.. The guitar plays spot on, no problems at all There is no fault and is very very nice to play and sounds even better. This guitar is as close to an original 60s tele as you can get... Come and have a play, I kid you not you will be wowed. Check out Sam bell and the others on you tube.. They play these guitars as well as many other talented musicians.. No silly offers, and come and see it before you think of what it worth to you.. Trust me it's a beautiful instrument and I class it as a piece of art.. collectible to anyone who knows what a great instrument is. Won't lose value and is in amazing condition.
