PLEASE CALL US TOLL FREE FOR AN IN-HAND DESCRIPTION1-800-800-0087 What makes this guitar special: Fender has made a rare occasion of producing all-rosewood necked guitars and this is an absolutely killer example of what that build element can add in terms of both sound and aesthetic. Visually, the rosewood provides a great contrast to its Desert Sand body but both share a light, nitrocellulose lacquer finish that allows it all to breathe and resonate much more naturally than a standard poly finish would allow. Tonally, the RW neck warms everything just a little bit but all without losing the classic Strat snap. The pickups sound absolutely fantastic and have all the charm of a vintage Strat, complete with endless jangle, medium body and a midrange that truly sings. The middle pickup is also reverse wound, allowing players the benefits of a humbucker when in combined positions. Its relic finish is tastefully done, giving it an overall look of a guitar that has been both well-loved and well-maintained. Plus, it’s still in excellent shape and will ship with a professional in-house setup so it plays like butter as soon as it’s tuned to pitch. Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall, if not better. Outside of the tasteful relic finish, it shows very few if any signs of additional wear and is still in fantastic shape overall. The frets show no wear, all the electronics have been fully tested and function as they should. The truss rod functions perfectly. Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body with a relic Desert Sand nitrocellulose lacquer finish. 1956-style relic light gold aluminum pickguard. American Vintage 6-saddle bridge. Aged cream control knobs, pickup covers and switch tip. Aged hardware. Engraved Limited Edition chrome neck plate. Weight: 7 lbs 12.1 ozNeck: 1957 Style Soft V profile rosewood neck and 9.5” radius fingerboard with clay colored inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. 1 9/16” nut. 25.5” scale length. Sanko 6105 frets. Electronics: Hand-wound 50s Strat single-coil pickups, reverse wound in the middle position. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector. Case: Original Fender hardshell case.
