The SRV-212 is a rotary speaker cabinet designed specifically for guitar and powered by your guitar amplifier. It features 2 - 12" Eminence screaming Eagle 75-watt speakers firing into a single rotor. Adjustable fast/slow speeds and transition time are featured. The autostop system positions the rotor forward so the SRV-212 can be used as a normal 2X12 cabinet. The Motion Sound SRV-212 rotary speaker cabinet uses your amp's power to make that natural swirling, pulsing ambience only real moving speakers can provide. If you want to get real, throbbing tremolo and three-dimensional chorus effects, just plug your amplifier into the SRV-212 cabinet, which is loaded with two 12" Eminence 75W speakers. Other features include footswitchable fast/slow speeds and transition time, and you can even use the autostop function to position the rotor forward, making a normal 2x12 cab out of the Motion Sound SRV-212. Because the sound from a rotary speaker is being spun all around a room, it will not sound as loud to you as a stationary guitar speaker firing directly at you. Volume will be affected by reflections from walls and ceilings. In an outdoor venue much of the sound is directed away from you and will not be reflected back, this is the worst case scenario. A small stage/room will have the most reflections and will be the loudest and best scenario. In larger venues if you can place your rotary amplifier by reflective surfaces, that will increase the volume where you are standing and provide a richer rotary sound. This Motion Sound SRV-212 Rotary Speaker Extension Cabinet is a used item in excellent condition. There is no wear showing in terms of any marks or issues. There are little hours on this unit.
