This guitar was purchased new in October 2005 for £1,099.It has only ever played two gigs, and generally has never been played that heavily. It has seen some life, however, and there are a few knocks and scratches. I think you’d count all but one as fairly cosmetic and I’ve tried to take photos that accurately capture the condition so you know exactly what you’re bidding for. There’s one particular knock that really did make me rather depressed at the time - about 1cm in length. The guitar itself is great. It feels lovely and solid, has a nice action and a lovely tone. I wouldn’t be getting rid of it – it’s just a need the space thing. It comes with the original Gibson case and this really has been around the block. As you can see, it still looks ok, but it has few small puncture holes, lots of knocks and was stored in a damp shed for some time. Plus the lock/catch is no longer working – it doesn’t stay down. But it’s still a tough and safe way to transport the guitar. This comes with the original Gibson strap, and the original invoice/documentation. I would prefer to say pick up only, but equally I don’t mind shipping if the buyer is happy to pay. One photo shoes the serial number.
