1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Serial number 9638xx. This guitar is in very good condition, never a break, I believe the back has been refinished very long time ago and the rest over sprayed , If I didn't mention it you probably wouldn't know.. When refinished the previous owner swapped the pickups for 1975 style with pat. number stamped in base, still a t-top, just no decal, also has newer 1974 pots. stamped 13774xx. Has a full 50's style neck with original frets and working truss rod. Guitar appears to be hardly played. Frets are real good, original case. to see the guitar it has a few dings, one mark on the pickguard and same ding under the guard on body. Neck is three piece mahogany and two piece maple top. Has some worming on back, but not bad and not thru the paint. Guitar is road ready now as is. Sounds great, as a side note, a new Gibson 1974 reissue cost 6669.00 and this is a lot less expensive with real 1974 parts and early 1970 wood. This guitar looks and sounds great. original 5 latch case with all latches working.
