Fitted with a single coil pickup & Tele-style controls, it's got a great singing tone with classic Fender twang! This Fender Champion is approximately 60s years old, dating from around 1957.With a Telecaster style layout, controls are single volume & tone, with the volume in easy reach of the covered bridge, making it easy to perform volume swells. It's fitted with a single pickup which provides a fantastic tone with a snappy attack & zingy treble response! Please note that some parts on this instrument have been replaced over its considerable life span - the electronics have been replaced at some more recent point in time & we cannot confirm if the original pickup is still fitted - all shown in the photographs. The case is original & is in brilliant condition considering the age. Guitar is currently tuned & strung as follows1st: D / 16 plain steel
2nd: B / 18 plain steel
3rd: G / 26 nickel-wound
4th: D / 36 nickel-wound
5th: B / 46 nickel-wound
