Listed here is a lovely J.E.Dallas/Crabb C/G 30 button anglo concertina made between 1933 to 1953 (serial number is:# 52587). The Crabb family of concertina makers made concertinas which were sold to wholesalers and retailers and later on re-badged. One of the retailers, J.E. Dallas, bought many "budget model Crabb concertinas" and sold them under the "Dallas" brand name. Despite the crude fretwork this is an excellent concertina. Geoff Crabb advises that his grandfather and father did not spare any expense in making excellent reeds. The reedpan is typical of a Crabb concertina.....reeds are set in brass shoes... set in a parallel manner. This concertina is tuned to (A=440 mh). The Dallas/Crabb concertina has riveted action and is a lovely player. The 8 fold replacement bellows were made in South Africa for a previous owner. Each note and button works properly. This instrument makes a sweet sound typical of Crabb concertinas. .
Shipping/Postage to the UK, Europe, Japan and Australia is: $150.00. Shipping to Canada and the U.S.A.is $50.00.
