The cover is made from Hermann Oak premium leather and then hand-tooled and laced by me. I put many hours in the detail and visual appeal. Both the front and back are decorated.The guitar itself is a 2008 Fender Highway One Telecaster. It's in near mint condition! It's all USA made. It is an ideal match of vintage and contemporary Fender specs. It has the vintage-style bridge with brass saddles and the neck is a 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets. On top of that, it is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pound Telecaster bridge pickup!. It SOUNDS AND PLAYS INCREDIBLE! It is set up with .010 gauge strings and is effortless to play! And, look at the FLAME figure in the maple neck! It's awesome!The look is pretty self-explanatory. Pay close attention to the photos to appreciate the attention to detail and depth of the tooling work. You will not find this kind of depth and detail on a custom leather cover on eBay, or anywhere, for this price. In fact, leather crafters can charge upwards of $2500 for the cover alone.This particular cover is the most iconic Waylon pattern/design. I used matte white and matte black on the front and back.My leatherwork has deep relief and extensive detailing. If you look at the many photos, you will see what I mean.
I usually sell these on a commission basis. This is a chance to get one already made. You will be hard-pressed to find a Tele like this, with this much detail in the leatherwork, for this price. My tooling work is very deep and detailed. It's almost like a sculpture in the leather. You will pay between $1500-$2500 for the covers alone for comparable covers. I use the best quality components and it shows.
