Used 2006 Gibson L4A Jumbo Acoustic, Tobacco SunburstI have been the only owner of this guitar and it has been a beautiful guitar. Deep luster in the rosewood grains throughout the sides and back. I recorded 4 albums with this as my main acoustic. It has a full body, deep resonant tone. She has a lot of power, beautiful mids and deep lows with an even clarity on the top end. Playability is a solid 5, smooth, fast and easeful. The narrow waist made a huge difference for me as a performer as I was able to have a loud and resonant guitar that wasn't too big for my smaller sized frame. You can thump it and it takes it, you can play soft and still be heard. It is great picking or finger style.
She has been my gal for the last 10 years and I hate to part with her but I can just feel it is time for something new. I am hoping she will find a good home and get lots of play time!Check out the reviews on Musicians Friend, 5 star total. --OVERVIEW
