Reliced, rare Fender Katana. Made for one one year in 1985 in Japan, while the US plant was out of commission. Fender's version of a Flying V. The Katana has a maple glued-in neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, offset triangle markers, a 629mm (24.75") scale with 22 frets, a truss rod adjuster at the headstock end. It features a string clamp, an arrow-head-shape headstock and a neck that matches the body color and a three-way selector, all on body, and a side mounted jack socket. It also has a two-pivot bridge/vibrato unit. Custom additions include humbucker pickup covers and two custom control knobs (volume, tone). Missing the string tree. Note this is NOT the cheaper Korean Squire model. This one is a real road warrior, heavy relic, but totally playable. Pickups running low, you may wish to replace. Road warrior case included.
