Fender the Strat were made in the U.S.A. from around 1980 -1983. This sounds good and plays well. It does have a locking nut with tremolo and the correct tremolo is included. It is candy apple red. The hardware is quality Brass Master design from the Fender Brass Works line, good stuff.The case is good and included. Frets are good to very good with light smooth and even wear , and it looks like Gibson type strap buttons. Shipper and times are not consistent and vary. Good Luck
