What makes this guitar special: A great playing early 90’s dot, with a terrific neck feel and some really nice and elegant flame work throughout the body. This one is super clean for its age, with only a few signs of wear throughout and a full life time of use left in the frets. As with all our pieces, it has been professionally setup and inspected by our in-house master luthier, and will arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: Great condition for its age, with some typical player’s wear throughout. Various light scratches, nicks, dings, dents, and scuffs throughout, with some very minor fretwear, a few areas of weather checking, and one notable area of finish cracking just behind the input jack on the side of the guitar.Body: Double bound maple body finished in cherry with 5-ply black pickguard, Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.Weight: 8 lb, 11 ozNeck: Nicely tapered medium profile mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and while frets show some light wear, they still have a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo and crown. Grover tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod is fully functional.Electronics: Dual ’57 Classic humbuckers (Bridge-7.47K ohms, Neck-7.65K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black tophat knobs with pointed indicators, 2x volume, 2x tone.Case: Original hard shell case included. Locking mechanism is touchy and appears not to work, and the rear buckle is bent, but still functions fine.
