HERE WE GO... I have decided to sell my rare and I believe almost non-existent 18x16.5 Yamaha maple custom floor tom. This is part of a set that was purchased in 2010 , the last year available before being discontinued. My main kit that I play is the same kit. This has been inside storage, for the last 7 years. I used it in 2011 in a heavy metal band for about 6 weeks before busting up. This was used in conjunction with a 16, 18 floor set-up. This drum is in PRISTINE condition. it is like brand new. This drum should show no signs of damage or abuse. ANYWHERE, not even on rims, etc. It does have stick wear on heads that I switched some years ago. It has not been played since the 2011 gig. I am starting at a high price because these size drums in this line is very rare and almost never seen. This beauty weights in at 15.7 pounds. This would of course cold be used as a great converted jazz base drum and or a great addition to a nice floor tom set-up. With proper heads and tuning it sounds like a CANNON This floor tom DOES come with standard floor legs that came with it at the time of purchase... Buyer pays shipping and ins. The shipping will be UP TO 146.00 ups. standard ground (including -1400$ insurance) through u.p.s. That of course could be adjusted a bit depending who wins the bid on this great drum, depending where the geographic location is in the 48 continental states. ( not available in Hawaii or Alaska, sorry). There ya go........good luck . this was a hard decision to make but it is now up for grabs. you can send any questions you may have on this post. |
