Chuck Lee, Banjo builder in Ovilla, TX. This is the Cottonwood model, #703 he has made. Cherry pot and neck, Ebony fingerboard, Abalone offset 'dots'. There is no guard, because the hooks are recessed; no lumpy surface for your arm to rest against. This is a gorgeous banjo to just look at! Unfortunately, that's all I did with it after my husband bought it for me! I have MS, and my left hand doesn't have the strength to play. Comes with a Superior case (the best out there). Is currently strung with Sands nylon strings, includes a new D'Addario steel set.This is an openback, clawhammer-style/old-style banjo. Brass tone ring. 11" acrylic head.Thank you for looking!
