Taylor Acoustic/Electric with Florentine Cutaway:
This is truly a beautiful acoustic/electric guitar built in 1991 with a grand concert body in excellent condition, having 1 ping on the top lower bout and a white scuff mark on the bottom edge of the binding (see last 2 photos). It has Rosewood back and sides and a Sitka Spruce top. The neck is mahogany, the fingerboard and bridge are ebony. It also features a Florentine cut-away (which was a special order feature). The pickups are mounted on the underside of the bridge and while we can't see them, the folks at Taylor tell me it is a Fishman Electronics unit, likely a Matrix. It was a "simple yet popular system where the transducer sat under the saddle and connected directly to the end-jack."The nut width (neck width) is 1-11/16"It comes with a Taylor case - note: the back hasp on the case has been damaged. Also included is the original 1991 Taylor receipt/warranty and a Dampit. The original owners paid $1444.50 for it 25 years ago.On (Nov 10, 2016) a professional "Setup" was done, including new Martin bronze strings. It is tuned and sounds beautiful, but I will loosen the strings for shipping to remove pressure on the neck in transit. This is a gorgeous instrument that has 2 minor cosmetic blemishes. You should consider adding it to your collection.
