Bach Stradivarius Model 42 TromboneServed me well during high school and college, but since I don't play anymore, I think it's time to pass this horn onto someone else. It's a sturdy instrument, built around 1984 at Bach's plant in Elkhart, Indiana. The intonation is extremely stable, and the lack of a trigger makes it affordable - perfect for younger students.Condition-wise, it's pretty good for being 32 years old. All joints are perfectly round, no dents or bends in the airflow path. The plating has worn down in high-friction areas, especially where the hands touch the metal, but also a little bit where the horn touches the shoulder. There's also a decent sized dent in the outer bell, but it doesn't affect the sound. I've provided pictures of all defects.Also included are what's left of the last slide-o-mix kit I bought, a cleaning rod, a spray bottle, and some tuning slide grease.NOTE ON SHIPPING: Shipping estimates for a package of this size are all over the place, anywhere from $15 to $60 for USPS ground (the post office, not the brown trucks) depending on destination. I've got flat-rate shipping set to $50, including packing materials - a bargain if you're on the West coast, but exorbitant if you live close by. Please arrange for local pickup if at all possible, I'm open to meet somewhere in the middle if the distance is too far.Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
