Up for sale is a mostly original early 1950's Gibson BR-9 Lap Steel in GREAT CONDITION! Lap steel works and functions as it should. Could use a little but of cleaning in the electronics, but hey, what do you expect for something this old? The only things not original on this lap steel are the tuners (Rotted off over time) and the knob covers. Everything else is original. Tuners upgraded to Klusion tuners made for vintage Gibsons. There is a crack in the "pick guard" on the front, but it is just a crack. Nothing that will interfere with the playing of this lap steel. Just re-strung it. Has original hard shell case. Case is in great shape!
