I purchased this guitar in 1966 from a musician while performing in San Francisco's North Beach area. The head stock was broken and repaired in 1968. The repair was done at a well known bay area  guitar repair shop that was recommended to me by other profession guitar players in the area. After the repair work was accomplished it plays as good as it did before the repair was done.Many other pros have said head stock repairs done by a quality shop is just a strong as the original, perhaps stronger.
