These days it's hard to find a beautiful, quality Bluegrass banjo with 20-hole flat-head flange for less than a thousand dollars. This is a later model Orpheum #2 built in the early 1980's and comes with a hard shell case. Nice workmanship, Beautiful inlays, loud brass tone ring, plays well and is a fine instrument. This was my backup banjo, I didn't play it much. hardly used.
