You are looking at a Vintage Neve 1066 Microphone Pre Amp Module!!! Very RARE Module w/ Highly sought after Marinair Transformer and Octal Can Transformer.  This module is considered to be the most Harmonically Rich of all the 1066’s This module is used and in good cosmetic shape.  Some scratches on the body from normal use but overall this unit is very clean for its age. The Neve 1066 is a Class A, discrete Mic Pre/3 band EQ, with hi pass filter.  This model has the fat 'Neve' low end, with the sensible midrange points and sweet high end. Top end is 10K instead of 12k as on a 1073, and lo/mids frequencies are just different enough to those of a 1073 to make them a nice complement to each other. High-pass filter points at 45 - 70 - 160 - 360 HzLow EQ points: 35 - 60 - 100 - 220 HzMid EQ points: 700 Hz; 1.2 - 2.4 - 3.6 - 7 kHzHi EQ fixed at 10 khzSeparate mic and line inputsMic input attenuation from -20 to -80 dB in 5 dB incrementsLine input attenuation from +10 to -20 dB in 5 dB incrementsHi/Lo impedance switch on rear of unit.Phase reversalBypass Here’s some history on the the Neve 1066. Formed in 1961, Rupert Neve & Co. was focused from the beginning on designing and building the highest quality professional audio components. After establishing itself in the marketplace, and moving from Rupert's house to a newly built factory in Melbourn, England, Neve went on to create three of its most iconic products: the 2254 Compressor/Limiter in 1968, the 1073 Mic Pre/EQ in 1970, and the 1081 Mic Pre/EQ in 1973.  Aimed at the broadcast market, these units were found in numerous custom-built Neve consoles of the day. And because so much of their work was customized, there are many variants on the basic 2254 Compressor and 1073 Mic Preamp, including different form factors, cosmetics, components and features. Using Class A discrete, transistor designs, meticulously hand-wired and built to last, Neve became the world standard for excellence in broadcast and recording studio consoles. From the small-format BCM10 and Melbourn mixers, to the large-format 80 Series, these consoles continue to be treasured today, while standalone modules from them can be found in the racks of the best studios all over the world. To this day, the most important Neve products from the late 60s and early 70s are still manufactured according to the original specs. The reason is obvious - no other gear has that ‘Neve sound’, and there is no substitute for the real thing.  Items will be professionally packed, shipped and insured to guarantee safe arrival The item(s) pictured is the one you will be receiving. No additional accessories included.  **BUY WITH CONFIDENCE****FREE SHIPPING WITHIN THE UNITED STATES**  All our Gear is tested before being shipped.  Sometimes things happen beyond our control during shipping.  If your product arrives not as described in our listing for any reason, please reach out to us directly so we can resolve this issue promptly.  Many issues can be solved quickly and efficiently with a quick correspondence.  We take our customer satisfaction very seriously!  Tone House Studios has new Guitar and Recording Studio gear being added every week!!  Be sure to check out our world class recording facility located in Long Island, NY.  Follow us on facebook to keep up with new offerings and news from the studio. Thank you for considering Tone House for your boutique pro-audio / guitar needs!!
