Up for sale is a 1951 Conn 10m Tenor Saxophone. (Same model horn Dexter Gordon played!) This horn was just cleaned and serviced in our shop at Hill City Music. It does show signs of posts being re-soldered and dents being removed. While this horn is no closet queen, it still maintains a big, fat sound that Conns are known for. Pads are not a full matching set, but it plays well as is. A pro player may consider getting this horn overhauled, but at this point, the condition of the pads are fine and it plays well. Of course, when you receive the horn in the mail, get it checked out by your regular technician, as things often shift during shipping.Ask questions!
