This Fender American Standard Precision Bass was purchased brand new from American Musical Supply on May 20, 2016 for $1349.99 and is not even a year old. I am selling this as I'm primarily a guitar player and not playing this bass as much as anticipated and need to do some projects around my house for the family. This bass was used for playing at church and youth events and has received so many compliments. I ran it through a compressor and eq/boost and it is just an amazing cutting tone. Everyone notices and asks me what I'm playing....the tried and true American Precision. As you know, the American Professional line is now retiring the American Standard and so deals can be found on this bass. My loos, your gain there.Cosmetically, I LOVE the grain on the neck and head stock - please see photos and zoom in to see what I mean. The rings in the wood are almost directly centered within the head and looks amazing. The neck feels absolutely amazing. Of my guitars and basses, this one has the smoothest neck. There is one ding on the inside of between the strap and the heel. I had Dimarzion strap locks which I love but have removed them and installed the original strap holders.
