For sale is a BAE 500 series 11 space rack unit complete with: 4 x Brent Averill Avedis 1122 op amp Preamps (Api 312)
1 x API 525 Compressor
1 x API 560 EQ
1 x BAE SM+ PSUThis rack and the units within, were pulled from my recording studio and work as intended. Everything is in overall clean shape other then the usual scratches on top of the rack due to racking it with other gear. Front of units are clean. This unit is great for anyone who wants to get in the 500 game or upgrade from a 6 space.
The 4 Brent Averill pres have been a staple in my studio for drums and direct instruments for their clean and punchy sound, also great on vocals especially with a warm tube mic. I bought those pres directly from Brent when he was still in the valley before Mark took over. The API 525 gotta be the fastest compressor I have ever tried and I tried a ton of them, it can really grab the transients like no other I know of. This whole unit is quite heavy and I already packed it really well to endure a safe trip to your studio.Pickup in Los Angeles is also possible.No returns. Feel free to ask any question. Good bidding!
