Very clean with one dime-sized chipped paint where the neck meets the body. That blue smudge on the picture is my computer screen reflecting. Original pick ups replaced with Wilkinsons that sound great. The bridge has a Fender/Fishman acoustic pickup. The jack automatically splits the Fishman if you use a Y-cable so one signal goes to your regular amp and the other goes to a separate amp, preferably a Fishman or other acoustic brand amp. Will work with regular amp or a single amp, but to really get the intended acoustic sound you need an acoustic amp separately, with regard to the Fishman pup.
The tone control is push-pull so you can get the classic Telecaster sound of the two pups together, as well as all three. This is basically a Strat and a Tele in one guitar. The third knob controls the volume of the Fishman. The neck is a custom Haywire (out of Virginia Beach) and has a 12" compound radius (love Fenders, but not 7.25" or 9.5" radius) and bone nut, Grover tuners and roller string trees. There is a battery compartment for the Fishman, and a battery must be used to hear the guitar. The battery only drains if there is a cable in the output jack. The battery compartment cover is missing, but battery is in there snug and won't fall out. The LED light that warns you if your battery is low is not functional.
The only thing that's not American-made is the body, everything else is updated with American parts. Professionally set up, including fret dressing so no sharp edges. Great sounding and playing Tele with huge versatility in sound. Message me if you have any questions.
