Jen-Co Harmonia Mini-Sousaphone in Eb. Serial # 5413---Measures only about 40" from top to bottom. The bell is 18".
There are only a few very minor dings. Look at the photos--one has a flute sitting on the horn to give an idea how small this horn is. This is a very rare horn, especially in this condition. It is built in Eb and will play pretty well in the upper register but is hard to play in the lower range. This is with an Olds Trombone mouthpiece and a not so good player. It will do better with a proper mouthpiece and servicing. The lacquer is pretty well gone and should be refinished. The valves work smoothly and look good. It should be gone over by a good repairman to check for leaks, pull the slides , clean and flush, new spit valve cork and replace the missing screw holder bell retainer.It will be shipped in two boxes, one for the bell (11 pounds) and one for the body. (15 pounds) It has the mouth pipe, bit and 2 mouthpieces (not the correct ones). There is some additional info on the net about these horns under Jen-Co Harmonia. It will be well packed and sent insured--each box for the purchase price. I will quote you a shipping price based on your zip code or you can check it out yourself--2 boxes plus insurance.
