This is a rare, original USA-built sunburst finish Steinberger GM7TA. NOT a Music-Yo version with Moses neck. An amazing guitar in excellent condition. This guitar was just restored and set-up by Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at Steinberger Sound. Jeff refretted the neck and mirror-polished the frets, rebuilt the TransTrem and serviced the electronics. Jeff rebuilt the original TransTrem with new bearings and spring and also burnished the roller saddles, so that it now transposes correctly and returns to zero accurately. This model features a factory mini-switch so that both EMG 89's can be set to single-coil sound. It also has the HAZ Labs active EQ circuit with independent control for treble and bass, boost and cut. This GM7TA will make a perfect "player's guitar" as it has a few minor bumps and scratches (see photos) that reduces its price, but nothing that affects its wonderful playability or performance.This Steinberger GM7TA guitar will ship in a new HeadlessUSA black gig-bag with its Trans-Trem arm, a new black cotton strap, an extra set of strings, and a copy of Jeff's work-order.
