RARE 1950s National/ Valco? Double Steel Guitar for Service: 2x8 serial # T3883, made in USA. The closest thing I can find to this is a 1957 Tonemaster manufactured by Valco for English Electronics. They resemble each other greatly, but ours is a creme swirl “plastic” body. If not for the fact that the plastic? buttons on the Kluson tuners have deteriorated, this would be in excellent condition. It has been played but has never been abused and is still a very attractive instrument. I plugged it in and the volume and tone are both very clean without static. The selctor knob feels strange but works fine. The strings are shot and will need replacement. Includes a Stevens fret bar and a couple old picks. Also includes its’ original? hard case in fair-good condition (protects well, inside nice and hinged leg blocks are very good, hardware works -has key lol, much outer wear). This steel will require the tuners to be repaired/replaced before daily use. <br><br><br>*****PLEASE READ*****
