Lovely vintage Washburn Falcon, circa 1979, serial number 792907. Ash body, through neck of maple and walnut. Solid r!!!wood top! this is NOT a veneer, it is a solid cap rising to over an inch in the middle. Huge big chunk of it! No expense spared. Just amazing. I think these are really the very best of Japan. This one has all the best bits. Circle inlays of brass, connecting it with Dieon ? Daeion? hows it spelt! anyway, they are one of the most respected of Japanese makers, who contracted to build these along with Yamaki. Some of these only a year later only had normal plastic dots. Brass saddles, brass nut, body feels as heavy as brass too!! but you know its a heavyweight anyway? Les Paul tones with a difference. Push Pull knobs for coil taps too, knobs set into body so they are not tilted all over the place. Has original Washurn case. Selling as I have just purchased a Pack Leader guitar!! I always wanted a Falcon because of its similarity but I cant justify both. Thanks. Ebay is not letting me say what the top wood is!! I,m sure you know!
