This is a 1989? 57' reissue Fender Stratocaster MIJ in Sonic Blue. It is all original, in a plastic hardshell Fender case, and in very good condition. As many players know, the 89's and early 90 MIJ reissues were very well made. I am the original owner of this guitar, purchased new from Thoroughbred music in Tampa Florida. I played every single strat in the store that day, standards, deluxe, USA's MIJ's, all of em, and out of the dozens of guitars I chose this specific guitar because it played and sounded the best. The original Sonic Blue color has slightly yellowed over the years, so it has a more greenish tint than the original blue. It has been played, and the neck shows a bit of finish wear near the 3rd fret as shown in the pictures, which is very common for these guitars. the usual nicks and scuffs here and there, but look at the photos and you'll see she's in very good shape considering her age.the only reason i'm selling some of my guitars is that these are the ones that have been just sitting in the case for years. this particular guitar hasn't been played in almost 15 years. Take her home, treat her right, and she'll be good to you. Otherwise, I'll lock her away in the closet for another 15.Shipping and Payment Info:
