HIGH BID WINS THIS IMMACULATE PIECE!Item Description: This, folks, is one of the first 1976 gibson les paul standard made that year and this one is in incredible shape overall and factory original down to the screws! It weighs 9 lbs 9 oz which is very light considering the majority I have seen are well over 10 lbs. So I am considering all this in my price. There's plenty of photos that tell you everything about the instrument but I will add some text below to make sure everything is described as good as possible. Keep in mind this is an all original (EVERYTHING), vintage piece so it will have its share of dings and scratches.1) Headstock - Clean. You can see 2 'burn' marks from being hung on the wall. The face of it has small swirl like scratches from strings' ends. Solid tuners! Original nut, No breaks/repairs.2) Neck - Super clean. Barely a swirl. Solid, no repairs, no issues. Fully operational truss rod. Very low action. About 35-30% fret life left. No buzz, no gouges anywhere. Smooth rosewood board. 3) Body - The top is very clean. It'll show surface dings (about 10) but they are hard to notice because of the natural finish. Smudge/cloud area where your forearm of the right hand rests, honest player's wear. The sides will show dings, dents and scratches, most of which can be found on the bottom (rubbed off finish) and one bigger chip by the rear strap button from a stand. Never dropped, never repaired. The back will show surface scratches and surface buckle rash that is not very deep and it is not through the finish. Normal for 40 years old instrument.4) Electronics&Hardware - All original and clean. Fully operational.5) Case - Original. Extremely clean on the outside (no gibson logo).Also, free you receive my personal set up with 10's FREE - including new strings, fretboard clean up, fret polish, my personal action set up&intonation, electronics clean up and truss rod adjustment ($100 value minimum).
