Vintage 1964 Super Reverb. I purchased it from the man who purchased it from the original owner. I purchased 40 vintage amps as an investment a while back. I have done nothing to it but play it lightly so I will take facts from original ad. The power transformer was replaced with a Heyboer. The reverb tank was replaced with an Accutronics. The electrolytic filter and bypass caps have been replaced. All original blue coupling caps are there. Has all original Jensen speakers. Had casters at one time. All preamp tubes are GT except AT7's which are vintage GE. Power tubes are vintage GE Electronics. Rectifier is vintage RCA 5U4. This amp sounds terrific. I had 8 Super Reverbs at one time. Eventually sold all but this one because it sounded the best. Rock and Blues to the max. Looks like at one time humidity got to it and puckered the tolex on the sides at the bottom. See the pictures. But at 53 years old I think we all start to pucker. Tube chart is stamped NF. These are a treat to play. In my opinion the best sounding amp Fender ever made. I have this for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel this ad at any time.
