made in Germany/GDR by Joachim Wetzel in the 1950's:- Radial sound inlet, impedance 200 ohms
- Cardioid pickup pattern, 1/2" mounting thread
- Frequency response: 30Hz to 16,000Hz, 55mV/Pa
- Gold sputtered 1" (25mm) M7-type large diaphragm capsule
- Preamp with selected ECC83 (12AX7) audio tube
- Permanently mounted 7'(2.1m) microphone cable
Dimensions: 1.5" (38mm) in diameter, 6.1" (155mm) high
This microphone has been upgraded with transformer-balanced 200 ohms signal output. Also the tube circuit was slightly tuned for optimal audio performance. All PSU voltages are adjustable and stabilized. The mic is free from hum & noise.
Dimensions PSU: 5.1" by 4.3", 2.5" deep (130 x 110 x 65mm)
Mains voltage: 220 VAC
The set includes the modified original power supply unit
(PSU) and a 1'(30cm) XLR output adapter cable.
