Email or call for an appointment*Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars Ltd 152-154 Hoxton Street, London N1 6SH **By appointment**1966 Hofner Verithin, Cherry Red.The back of the neck has been re finished, the tuners have been replaced with Grovers and witch hat Gibson knobs replace the originals. Based on the Hofner Verithin six string semi, and hence featuring a double-cutaway body with a 1.25" depth. Single dot fret markers and unbound fingerboards were initially used, followed very soon by a bound neck and bar type fret markers. ( as this example shows ) this bass has a two piece maple neck and a Rose wood finger Board.The refinish is superb for and shows only minimal play wear. There is lacquer checking throughout the body. The frets are in good shape. The pots are replaced. Fully set up by my technician with flat would strings. Weight: 5.2 lbs. . Neck dimensions: Nut Width: 1.68".
