The entire spectrum of sound is masterfully represented in this guitar, with crisp and shimmering highs, warm, well-rounded mids, and thunderous low-end. Built to the original 1931 specifications, this one has all the quality components that makes the originals so sought after – an Adirondack spruce top (with torrified VTS top to match vintage tonality), dove-tailed neck joint with hide glue construction, gorgeous straight grain genuine mahogany back and sides, and a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and head plate. This one is in particularly superb condition, having just been traded into us by the original owner. Cosmetically, it is near perfect…and with a professional setup from Cream City Music included, it’ll arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: Excellent cosmetic condition, with a few visible marks from handling, some light surface scratching, and visible pickwear on the guard.Body: Double bound straight grain genuine mahogany back and sides. Torrified (VTS) X-braced Adirondack Spruce top. Saddle-inlaid Brazilian Rosewood bridge and black bridge pins. Faux tortoise pickguard. Weight: 3 lb, 10.2 ozNeck: Dark mahogany neck with white side dots and abalone dot inlays. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard is in near perfect shape, and frets show almost no visible wear at all. Bone nut width measures 1 7/8”. 25.4” scale length. Slotted headstock with 1931 taper. Martin stamp on back of headstock. Golden Age Relic brass side mount tuners with cream colored buttons.
