For sale is a very scarce H Bettoney Silva-Bet plateau Bb clarinet.Silva-Bets don't come up for sale all that often, and are extremely hard to find with plateau keys.This particular example is being offered as a project, as it needs an overhaul and will require a donor cup to be soldered to the barrel.Other than the barrel, this clarinet is in respectable overall condition (albeit tarnished and in need of the aforementioned overhaul), with cosmetic detractors limited to some plating wear on the keys, and some light scratches to the body roughly an inch and a half above the thumb rest.This clarinet would make an excellent project, and would certainly be worth the effort due to its rarity.The original case is included.
