Description

1968 Fender Musicmaster II This guitar has a beautiful, straight neck that is hardly worn. It has the longer scale of the music-master, Mustang, Duo Sonic series. It plays easy, and the tone is like an old Stratocaster in the neck pickup selection. Light and resonant.  Very good condition vintage guitar!  All original including parts and finish, except strings. Featherweight 6 lb, 14 oz. The tone pot reads 304-6617, volume pot 304-6631, pickup 6-11-68, and serial number is 2331**. " Your guitar was made at the Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA in 1968 Production Number: 2331.." As known, Fender guitars from 66 through 69 had 66 potentiometers. All solder joints original. This guitar has been sparingly played, and has less than usual vintage age wear. It has expected chips, scratches, and checks that a vintage guitar would have, but still nice.  Back side body lower horn has an impression in the finish from sitting on a curly cord in the case. Case condition:  Fender Hard shell case included, not as pretty as the guitar, has outer covering and inner lining wear, but still solid.  Handle, latches and fender neck strap are present, and latches work but not springy, and the plating is very tarnished.  The top of the case was sprayed black to cover letters or design and bottom & edges of fabric is worn or torn outside. (see pics)  Inside is worn and faded but no odors. Overall a solid and protective, very vintage case.   Please view pics as part of the representation of  condition.  Feel free to ask any questions I might have left unanswered.  Proper packing and fast shipment.
