Vintage Rickenbacker bass, has been modified to fit a pickup. I am listing this for a friend so if you have questions please ask. Winning bidder adds 50.00 for shippingHere is a beautiful 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass Body and Neck for sale. The neck pocket has been modded to fit a Gibson EBO sized pickup a common modification. It can always have the original pickup installed despite the larger route. Smaller pickups always fit. Now for the best part professional artwork but a renound NYC artist and teacher of McCartneys SGT. Peppers style artwork. The artist who painted it was an artist in the late 60s and used the closet methods he could think of to reproduce the real thing. This is as close as it gets!! Pauls was 1964 this is only 10 years later! Once in a lifetime buy. Dont let this one pass you by youll regret it.. The neck was repaired at one point there seems to have been a crack near the headstock that seems very stable. I was getting ready to restore it and I didnt feel the least bit worried about it myself. Its just a body and neck and you can see very well from pictures so please no returns!! Only letting go of this to pay for medical bills please bid honest and fair. Wish you all the luck on getting this jem!
