The Universal Audio 6176 is a tube channel strip comprised of the classic 610 Microphone Preamp and legendary 1176 Compressor. With its tremendously flexible tone, function and ultra-quiet operation, the 6176 is the perfect analog front-end for digital audio recording.The Universal Audio 6176 combines one channel of the legendary 610 amplifier with an updated 1176LN to create the ultimate single-channel signal path. The 610 amplifier is packed with features, such as mic, line, and hi-Z inputs; two bands of shelving EQ; and a 15dB pad. The 1176 side maintains all the same features found on the classic 1176LN.
