Please remember your bid is a contract! This is a set of 1947 Gibson Kluson tuners removed from one of my personal instruments (confirmed L5 with 1947 serial number). The set is in vintage very good condition. Normal wear to the gold plate. One tuner shaft has a bend but it still turns fine. (See last pic --- I am holding the tuner and shaft bend is visible).This set – amazingly – is complete with its original matched 12 screws and 6 push-in ferrules…everything is in very good vintage condition. The buttons are intact with no visible decay…they seem to be remarkably stable and solid. Great looking complete relic set for your 1940’s Gibson archtop. This set from the 40’s with the plastic buttons is extremely rare. The high quality of these tuners – and everything Gibson did in that era- is noteworthy.
