banjira Scale Changer Harmonium (Item Code: HMSC)This deluxe harmonium features a fixed body, a scale changer, a mechanical coupler and 3 banks of Palitana reeds: Base, Male and Female. The multi-fold bellows can be opend for right or left handed payers. There are 5 knobs contoling drones, and air-flow to the reed banks is controlled by 4 stops. The Mechanical Coupler, actually "couples" two keys allowing the player to activate 2 octaves with one stroke. The Scale Changer physically slides the Keyboard left to right to change scale/range of the keys. Tuned to A=440 Hz (+-3 cents). DISCLAIMER: Some of the finishes are very impressionable, no pun intended. During the long transportation from India, the finish may become marred by the packing materials. These impressions are superficial and cosmetic. Impressions on the finish do not affect the playability or sound. Therefore we do not consider such impressions as blemishes or defects.
