Jean Baptiste EUPCOMS Compensating Euphonium in BbDesigned for advancing students, Jean Baptiste's Compensating Euphonium features four high quality stainless steel valves, providing an extended playing range over the typical student euphonium. The euphonium features a compensating dual bore system that allows players of all levels to produce a full, wonderful tone with ease. When the first three valves are played by themselves, the bore is a medium large .590 inch bore, creating a powerful commanding tone. Depressing the fourth compensating valve changes the air flow to a second set of tubing with a large .660 inch bore, lowering the playing range of the instrument. The EUPCOMS sports nickel silver outer tuning slides that help create a durable instrument and withstands wear at these key areas. This instrument features a 12-inch yellow brass bell and body, and the leadpipe is made of gold brass, which creates a warm, lush, vibrant tone. Includes hard shell wheeled case, perfect for any student on the go.Features:Keys of Bb/F
